Makes me fear
The unexpected,

And deserving
More than this.
Your absence
Makes me foolish,
Leaves me short
Of understanding,
Without the trust,
Without the patience
That I need.
In your absence
I grow stronger,
I grow wilder,
I reach further,
But the pain
Is almost more
